ABOUT US

For nearly six decades, KG Cricket – also known as Kay Gee Cricket – has been at the heart of the sport, blending tradition, craftsmanship, and innovation. Founded in 1966 by Mr. Kasturi Lal Mahajan in Jalandhar, Punjab, our journey began in a modest factory producing cricket goods, footballs, and rugby balls.
What started as one man's passion has grown into a global legacy, with our bats, pads, gloves, and accessories trusted by players from local clubs to international arenas.

From Local Roots to the International Stage
By the mid-70s, KG Cricket had taken Indian craftsmanship worldwide, exporting to cricket-loving nations and entering the professional cricket arena. Our gear found its way into the hands of Indian cricket stars – and soon after – international greats.
During the 1980s, our bats became a mainstay in the Indian national team's kit bags, and we proudly supplied gear to the Sri Lankan cricket team and other professional squads.

Pioneers in Cricket Gear Innovation
We were among the first in the cricket industry to embrace automation in manufacturing, while preserving the artistry of handcrafted bats. Every KG Cricket bat still carries the touch of skilled craftsmen, combined with precision technology to deliver:
- Perfect balance
- Exceptional power
- Unmatched performance
Trusted by the Greats
Over the decades, cricket legends have trusted KG Cricket gear at the highest level, including:
Virender Sehwag, Sanjay Manjrekar, Harbhajan Singh, VVS Laxman and many more.
